Municipality of Marianópolis do Tocantins promotes Public Cleaning task force in the city

The Municipality of Marianópolis do Tocantins, through a partnership with the municipal secretariats of Health, Environment, Fisheries and Tourism, Transport and Public Works and Agriculture, are carrying out a joint effort to clean up the streets and avenues of the city.

The action follows in all regions of the city. With the measure, residents have the opportunity to place unserviceable objects in front of their houses, in general, branches and construction debris, to be removed by the teams that are at the heart of the operation.

The objective of the task force, in addition to keeping the city clean, is to prevent diseases such as dengue, zika and chikungunya and to ensure greater safety for residents of Marianópolis do Tocantins, which is approaching its 34th year of political emancipation.

“We ask the population to help us in this cleaning action, a clean and organized environment is essential for good health”, highlighted a statement from the city hall.
