Workshop held by Cras from the Social Assistance department of Divinópolis do Tocantins, addresses the fight against child sexual exploitation

May 18th is the “National Day to Combat Abuse and Sexual Exploitation against Children and Adolescents” and this Tuesday (16th), the PAIF workshop was held at CRAS, in Divinópolis do Tocantins.

The workshop was to discuss the theme, with the aim of informing and calling on all of society to participate in the program that will take place on May 18 from 07:30 am, where there will be a walk through the city streets and will end with cultural presentations and an educational lecture at the Senador João Ribeiro Cultural Center, in defense of the rights of children and adolescents.

The meeting had the participation of the Tutelary Counselor, Rosangela Sousa and her daughter Carla Estefany, who had a devotional moment and a welcome with the song “Meu corpo é um tesourinho”.

The educational action has the institutional support of Mayor Flavão Rodrigues (PSD) and the Social Assistance Secretary and First Lady, Lenildes Vieira. At the end of the event, souvenirs were distributed and a delicious snack was served to guests.
