Moisemar receives Federal Police officers to discuss the National Drug Policy Week

On the morning of this Tuesday, 09, the state deputy, Moisemar Marinho (PSB), received the delegate of the Federal Police, Drº Danilo, and the Clerk Ailton, to discuss actions related to the National Week of Policies on Drugs, which will take place between the 25th and 30th of June 2023.

The purpose of the visit was to establish a partnership with the Legislative Assembly to develop some of the actions that may be carried out by Public Hearing during the National Week.

“This is a very important cause, as we know how much drug use harms citizens. We will provide the necessary support, and we are available to collaborate with the actions developed by the Federal Police and other bodies. Count on us”, said Moisemar.

It is worth noting that the Action Plan presented covers, in principle, the municipalities of Palmas and Araguaína. The Federal Police invited several public bodies involved in prevention and criminal prosecution to establish partnerships in order to carry out educational actions to combat the misuse of drugs, to encourage and support drug addicts.

The main intention is to draw the attention of the public debate to issues related to drug policies, as stipulated in the Drug Law (Law 11.343/2006).
